I’ve been to Glenfinnan a few times now but this year was definitely the best visit of the bunch. The weather was nice, the monument was free of scaffolding and I manage to get up to the viewpoint.
Can’t drive past Eilan Dolan Castle without taking a snap!
I am so so very glad we made it round to the Quiraing. My previous visit had the whole are smothered in such thick fog that I didn’t realise where I was until I had driven down and away. This time round the wind was up but it was clear and free from other people. The views from there are astounding.
I can’t wait to plan my next visit back to the west of Scotland. I never get tired of those views.
