Bluebells and aspen fluff

Sunday felt like a perfect spring day; warm sun, a cool breeze, and bluebells everywhere. I went for a little wander around Brampton Wood while the sun was high in the sky and managed to snap a few shots of my favourite little purple flower. Unfortunately I didn’t stay more than an hour because it’s a small little patch of wood and there were a lot of people who had the same idea as me. It started to feel a little crowded around the bluebell patches so I took a different route back to my car and straight into a glorious cloud of aspen tree fluff. It was like walking into a fuzzy snow storm. I wasn’t quick enough to snap the fluff as it was around me but I did get to admire the way it made the woodland floor look like a soft cloud.
