Back in the April of 2014 I took a little road trip by myself. It was the first time I’d ever done such a trip on my lonesome and I enjoyed every moment of it… until I hit a pheasant on the drive down to Whitby and had to be towed 300 miles home. So I enjoyed every moment of the two days of my trip and the other three were bust. But it was still a good two days.
The holy island of Lindisfarne is such an atmospheric place. It’s definitely on my list of places to visit again.
