It’s still January

January is always a mixed bag for me.

On the one hand.. yay it’s a new year! I can make plans for the coming months so I have all the things to look forward to and oh my god look there is a slither of light left in the sky when I leave work because spring is on the way!

But also… my last paycheck was 5 weeks ago and I still have a further week to wait for the next one and why is this month so looooooong?? I can’t afford to do anything or go anywhere and also my feet are always cold.

So yeah, mixed bag.

The upside to this January is that I took my exam for my distance learning course and passed! So that is out the way and I can start looking into financing the next level. I’ve also managed to get three mini-adventures booked and mostly sorted; Amsterdam in March, Scotland in May and Bath in September. It’s always nice to have things to look forward to.

Ooo. When in September? Near my birthday?

And, those photos are amazing. I’ve never been able to capture frost, but you do it so effortlessly. <3 (Not surprised. You've more talent in your pinkie than I do in my entire body. Ha.)

The few days in the month so technically 2 days of September followed by the 2 days in October.

Thanks! I love photographing frost (more than snow) but it’s not lasting very long here at the moment. 🙁
