As you may know… the UK suffered through a teeny tiny heatwave last week. And by ‘teeny tiny’ I mean an entire week of hellfire and tears. It was awful! After an epic thunderstorm on Friday night, I woke up to find Saturday feeling slightly cooler so I decided to grab my camera and go for a walk. Unfortunately I soon realised that ‘slightly cooler’ is a relative term and while it initially did feel quite fresh compared to the previous few days, it quickly became apparent that it was still hellfire and tears kind of weather. I found myself in the middle of the county park regretting the decision to wear jeans and crying over the fact I left my bottle of water back in my portable oven of a car.
When I wasn’t wailing to myself about the weather, I did get to play with my horribly ignored 105mm Sigma lens. I’ve had it almost a year and I hardly take it out because it weighs as much as a small elephant. It’s not fun having it hanging off your neck after fifteen minutes or so.
Yes I’m complaining a lot. I’m going to keep blaming the weather though.

P.s. Heat-waves are the worst. Seriously. Fuck scorching hot weather.
