As we crawl towards mid-July I can honestly say that the summer heat is becoming stifling. We seemed to have moved past the endless bright hot days and into a sluggish heat that make it hard to breath and while I am grateful the day temperature has dropped a little, the humidity levels have crept slowly upwards making the nights more unbearable. Nil points for British homes and all our wonderful insulation. I know we do like to complain about…

Suddenly July

I know it’s cliché to comment on how fast the days are passing… but seriously… what happened to June? What happened to May? How has it been over a month since my Scottish road trip? I can’t figure it out. But it’s definitely summer now. The good old British weather has been, as usual, unpredictable and mostly unpleasant but you can almost taste the change in the air.
