Sunday felt like a perfect spring day; warm sun, a cool breeze, and bluebells everywhere. Spring blooms

This past weekend I took a drive up to Oxburgh Hall for a walk-around as they always have such a wonderful carpet of snowdrops all through the grounds. The trees may still be bare but seeing endless clusters of these beautiful little flowers are a nice reminder that spring is creeping in.

That little patch of green

On my third day in Scotland I drove down from the Isle of Skye to Glencoe. But this little post isn’t really about Scotland; it’s about bluebells. Scotland is a beautiful country, but I found that even in early May the Highlands are still teetering on the edge of spring. Cherry blossom

Spring is here and it brings me joy to see the cherry blossoms are in bloom again. The sun is setting about 8pm, the fields are being ploughed and daffodils are everywhere. It’s spring!
