Mushrooms and toadstools and fungus, oh my!

Found a new little spot to walk the dog at the weekend. It’s a small area of man-made woods and grassland a couple of miles away from me; a lovely little spot that’s well maintained and fairly quiet. Cooper enjoyed himself, which is the most important thing. The second is knowing that when autumn rolls around I think the woodland area is going to be a fantastic place to take my camera and hunt down all the mushrooms and toadstools.…

Sunday felt like a perfect spring day; warm sun, a cool breeze, and bluebells everywhere. I went for a little wander around Brampton Wood while the sun was high in the sky and managed to snap a few shots of my favourite little purple flower. Woodland walking

As you may know… the UK suffered through a teeny tiny heatwave last week. And by ‘teeny tiny’ I mean an entire week of hellfire and tears. It was awful!
