As you may know… the UK suffered through a teeny tiny heatwave last week. And by ‘teeny tiny’ I mean an entire week of hellfire and tears. It was awful! Cherry blossom

Spring is here and it brings me joy to see the cherry blossoms are in bloom again. The sun is setting about 8pm, the fields are being ploughed and daffodils are everywhere. It’s spring!

Snowdrops

It’s the 1st March at last. We’re finally into the tail end of winter and it couldn’t have come sooner. I don’t like wishing the time away but I’m happy to say goodbye to January/February. Good thing about this time of year? I leave work at the end of the day and can still see the sun in the sky, albeit only for a little while, but it’s there. Perfect winter weather

The weather outside is exactly how I like my winter. Crisp, frosty, slightly misty but still. There’s no wind, rain or heavy ice and it’s just perfect for going exploring. Which is what I’m about to go do. This weather also makes for nice snaps of just my garden.
