Hinchingbrooke Country Park is one of my most favourite places to go for a wander as the seasons change. My standard route through the woodland and back along the river usually takes me an hour, and most times that’s enough to calm my mind a little. Spring blooms

This past weekend I took a drive up to Oxburgh Hall for a walk-around as they always have such a wonderful carpet of snowdrops all through the grounds. The trees may still be bare but seeing endless clusters of these beautiful little flowers are a nice reminder that spring is creeping in.

Blakeney Seals

Last Friday my sister and I went on a little trip to the Norfolk coast to see the seals and it was wonderful. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do for years and last week was the perfect weather for it. Blakeney Point is home to both Common and Grey seals and taking a boat trip is the only way to get close up to these seals in their natural habitat. Off to the pumpkin patch

Yesterday I took my Nan and Cooper to Undley Pumpkin Patch for a couple of hours. We ate fresh doughnuts covered in cinnamon, traipsed through the maize maze, and then I spent 20 minutes staring at all the pumpkins I wanted to buy but didn’t.
