Throw Back Thursday // Lindisfarne

lindisfarne

Back in the April of 2014 I took a little road trip by myself. It was the first time I’d ever done such a trip on my lonesome and I enjoyed every moment of it… until I hit a pheasant on the drive down to Whitby and had to be towed 300 miles home. So I enjoyed every moment of the two days of my trip and the other three were bust. But it was still a good two days.

The holy island of Lindisfarne is such an atmospheric place. It’s definitely on my list of places to visit again.

Looks like some place one could happily get “lost.” Gorgeous photos, as always. <3

The island is 3miles by 1.5miles… it’d be very hard to get lost 😉 But I see your point. It’s a great place to feel a little isolated looking out to the north sea.
